But Bianca was too angry to stop. She turned to the room.
“Everyone should hear this. If Lawrence Okoro insists on placing this woman above sense, I will use my family’s money to crush Okoro Group in 5 minutes.”
A murmur spread through the hall.
Lillian remained calm.
She looked at Bianca and said quietly, “Do it.”
Bianca blinked. “What?”
“Do it. Let everyone see whether your power is truly what you claim.”
Bianca took out her phone and made the call. Orders moved fast through her family network. Traders, brokers, and allies began pushing against Okoro Group.
People in the hall checked their phones.
But Bianca did not know Lillian had already moved too.
With one quiet phone call and 2 short messages, Lillian shifted private funds she controlled, gave sharp instructions, and blocked the attack before it could bite.
1 minute passed. Then 3. Then 5.
Nothing happened.
Okoro Group remained steady.
No collapse. No panic. No fall.
Bianca checked her phone again and again, but the results stayed the same.
Lillian looked at her. “5 minutes have passed. You promised too much. Kneel and apologize.”
The room went still.
Bianca did not kneel, but fear had already entered her face.
Just then, a senior staff member from the Oiora business side rushed over. He pointed at Lillian and said loudly, “This is nonsense. She cannot be first young madam. I have worked within the Oiora business circle for years, and I have never seen her.”
Vanessa, who had slipped inside through Bianca’s side access, lit up with hope.
“There,” Vanessa said loudly. “What did I say? She has been exposed.”
Bianca stepped forward. “Exactly. She is a fraud.”
Before the confusion could grow, the side doors opened.
Uncle Joseph walked in with security.
The atmosphere changed instantly.
He walked straight to Lillian, bowed, and said clearly, “First young madam.”
The hall fell silent.
Then he turned to the staff member. “You are too small to know every person your masters honor. Your ignorance is not proof. It is only ignorance.”
The man went pale.
“You overstepped your place,” Uncle Joseph continued. “From this moment, you no longer work under any Oiora company. Take him out.”
Security dragged the man away.
Bianca laughed sharply, trying to save herself. “Anyone can act. One old man greeting her does not prove anything. For all we know, she may have seduced him into helping her.”
Lawrence’s eyes flashed, but before he spoke, the main doors opened again.
The 4 elder businessmen entered together.
Chief Benson. Chief Peter. Chief Gabriel. Chief Tunde.
