Step 1: Prepare the Marshmallow Mixture
In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the miniature marshmallows and melted butter. Microwave on high for 1–2 minutes, or until the marshmallows are soft and puffy. Stir until smooth and fully combined.
Step 2: Melt the White Chocolate
In a separate microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth and creamy.
Step 3: Combine
Pour the melted white chocolate into the marshmallow mixture and stir until evenly blended. The mixture will be thick and sticky.
Step 4: Add the Gumdrops
Gently fold in the red and green gumdrops until evenly distributed throughout the nougat.
Step 5: Form the Bars
Line a baking dish or tray with parchment paper or aluminum foil, leaving some overhang for easy removal. Transfer the nougat mixture into the dish and press it into an even layer using a spatula or lightly greased hands.
Step 6: Chill and Set
Refrigerate for 1–2 hours, or until the nougat is firm and fully set.
Step 7: Slice and Serve
Lift the nougat out using the parchment or foil, place it on a cutting board, and slice into bars or squares with a sharp knife.
